This is, by far, the most loved recipe that I’ve shared. I make these cookies a lot and the best part is that your friends and family who aren’t gluten and dairy free honestly can’t tell the difference. These are just wonderful!
It’s no secret that dairy-free and gluten-free are often mistake for flavor-free. I have tried every chocolate chip cookie recipe in the book and nothing has tasted even remotely close to the real deal. I’d almost prefer to risk getting sick from the dairy-full, gluten-full version of these cookies than attempt anymore of the “safe” kind.
I took my favorite non-allergy-friendly recipe and tweaked it until I reached the perfect allergy-safe recipe🍪 These dairy-free, gluten-free chocolate chip cookies fooled my husband right away. He made it through two cookies before I told him they were allergy-safe and he did not believe me.

One thing that I have noticed is the type of flour you use DOES matter. I’ve had this exact recipe turn out terrible because of the type of gluten-free flour I used. I have had great luck with Namaste, Better Batter, and Pillsbury. If you try another flour, let me know how it goes!
